Rundeck

Rundeck is Job scheduler and runbook automation system, used for CI/CD Pipeline . Rundeck automation can help DevOps and Operations teams can manage automation in a central UI while delegating tasks within different private networks or multi-cloud environments

Prepare​

When referring to this document to use Rundeck, please read and ensure the following points:

  • Login to Websoft9 Console and find or install Rundeck:

    • Go to My Apps listing applications
    • Go to App Store installing target application

  • This application is installed by Websoft9 console.

  • The purpose of this application complies with the apache2 open source license agreement.

  • Configure the domain name or server security group opens external network ports for application access.

Getting Started​

Initial Setup​

  1. After completing the installation of Rundeck in the Websoft9 Console, retrieve the application's Overview and Access information from My Apps.

  2. Change the password immediately after logging in.

Can't access Rundeck through IP?​

You need to change the environment variable RUNDECK_GRAILS_URL to http://$W9_URL:$W9_HTTP_PORT_SET, and rebuild the application for the changes to take effect.
